This generic IR 720 filter is designed specifically for use with infrared-sensitive black and white films. It has a spectral sensitivity cutoff of 720nm that filters out virtually all visible light and allows for the passing of infrared light. When combined with films that have IR sensitivity of 720nm or beyond this can produce dramatic infrared images.
This filter can also be used with digital cameras that are converted for IR use to produce true IR imagery.
This filter is appropriate for lenses using a 58mm filter thread size.
